Ledgewood Barber Shop ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what data we touch when you visit ledgewoodbarber.com, book an appointment, or email us. We do not sell or trade personal information.
What we collect
On this website
Standard visitor data via Google Analytics 4: page views, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, referring site, and time on page. This is used to understand traffic patterns, not to identify individual visitors.
When you book online
Our online booking widget is operated by Square Appointments. When you book, Square collects your name, phone, email, and any notes you include with the appointment. That data is held by Square, not by us — we read it on Square's dashboard. See Square's privacy policy for details.
When you email us
Email sent to info@ledgewoodbarber.com arrives in our Google Workspace inbox and is retained until we manually delete it. If you'd like a specific email and any reply thread deleted from our inbox, request it and we will remove it.
What we don't collect
- We do not collect payment card data on this website. Payment happens at Square (online or at the chair).
- We do not sell or trade personal information to third parties.
- We do not direct marketing at children under 13. The shop is family-friendly, but this website is not aimed at minors.
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers, pixel tags, or remarketing scripts.
Cookies
This site uses Google Analytics 4 cookies (typically named _ga and _ga_*) for traffic measurement. You can opt out by installing Google's GA opt-out browser add-on or by configuring your browser to block third-party cookies.
The Square booking widget sets its own cookies when you use it. Those are governed by Square's privacy policy.
Your rights
You can request access to or deletion of data we hold about you by emailing info@ledgewoodbarber.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
For booking data held by Square, contact Square directly through your Square account or their privacy team. We can help facilitate but the data lives there.
If you are a California resident and want to exercise rights under the CCPA, or an EU/UK resident exercising rights under GDPR, email us at the address above and identify which rights you are exercising. We will respond within the statutory timeframe.
Children's privacy
We welcome kids in the shop for haircuts, but this website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 through this site. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.
Updates to this policy
We may update this page from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be flagged with a banner on the home page.
